Role Profile                                                         

LLI are a technology company with our own proprietary data that sets us apart in the market. We are the trusted partner to key players in the market. LLI are backed by Montagu Private Equity. Montagu invests in highly resilient companies with a must-have product or service in structurally growing marketplaces.

 

We are looking for a Global Head of Marketing to drive a high performing team.  Lead generation / inbound, brand and maximising revenue will be a core part of the role.  LLI is a 300-year-old start up, we are looking to leverage our Lloyds List Editorial team to drive content and maximise this unique position.     

 

High energy, enthusiasm, passion, and a can-do attitude are a must.  Solution minded and agile, we have to think fast and execute.  A hands-on leader who constantly delivers on time with high quality.  

 

This role is permanent and offers balanced working with 2-3 days a week in our London or Singapore office. We are open to elsewhere for a strong candidate and also that relocation is an option for the right candidate

 

Key Responsibilities


  • For all marketing channels; brand strategy; customer, PR; customer data & analytics and accelerating already successful and growing acquisition and retention.
  • Using customer insights, data & analysis, develop and own the brand strategy and future direction
  • Identify market opportunities to grow revenue and profit for the business
  • Develop, monitor, measure and performance manage all channels and teams, internal and external
  • Drive a high performance teams of marketers, analysts and creatives, continuously improving their skills and talent
  • OKR focused aligning marketing to LLI’s vision, mission, values. Measuring all elements to make objective decisions  
  • Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts and business cases
  • Champion brand values throughout the organisation
  • Hands on with corporate communications, content creation, events, digital marketing, partner marketing and sponsorships

 


What we are looking for;

Essential  

  • An accomplished professional with extensive marketing experience, proven demand generation / lead generation
  • Excellent leader working in a fast-paced environment
  • This person must be able to build great relationships internally and externally with a high EQ. They will be liaising with multiple departments, sales, product, Editorial, Customer Success, Technology etc. to work as a team across the business to deliver results.
  • A truly commercial marketer with a holistic business view and track record of leveraging marketing initiatives to generate measurable business results and drive revenues
  • Ability to set customer vision for the organisation, drive the expansion of all customer segments, multiple personas, products and markets
  • Experience in maximising digital marketing developments and tools
  • Hands on performance acquisition and experience from Search Engine Optimisation & Paid Social
  • Excellent Microsoft Office experience especially PowerPoint
  • Customer and data centric. Commercial but with a creative flair
  • Strong influencer; compelling communicator. Flexible and open to ideas, yet confident, self-assured, and resilient; courage of her/his/their convictions. Low ego.

 

 

Desirable

  • Experience of working in a start-up or scale-up organisation
  • Business modules/qualifications would be a significant advantage
  • Working in a SaaS, B2B or data and analytics product environments
  • Experience or/and knowledge in the maritime industry o financial Compliance / Trade Based Money Laundering (TBML)
  • Previous experience working in a PE backed business
  • Experience of working for an international company
