Company Overview:

We are currently partnered with an executive search firm that is focussed on financial services, Accounting, Audit, and Tax with a nice focus on rehabilitation and growth of the industry. They have excelled within this sector and have been working with the major industry PE & VC players, as well as servicing CPA, and fortune 500 companies.Ā 

Position Overview:

They are now looking for someone to come in and head out new business lines into their war client portfolio. In this position you would be building out a desk and team, being strategically growing that team to as large as needed whilst individually contributing. Being the market leader and building net new business within the Hedge fund and PE space and working with premier shops, as well as leveraging existing relationships. The hybrid role would be based in New York city.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead the strategic direction and growth initiatives of a new market within Hedge funds and PE companies recruitment practice, leveraging market insights and industry trends to drive business success.
  • Client Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their talent needs and delivering customized recruitment solutions that exceed expectations.
  • Team Management: You will be on-boarding and managing for a team, whilst being responsible for growth, and expansion of the team. So, you will need to build and mentor a high-performing team of on market full desk recruiters, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
  • Driving revenue; you will be responsible for driving revenue from clients and also from the team, placing accounting and finance candidates into the buy-side.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in placing within the Hedge fund and PE space
  • Deep understanding of your markets, trends, and talent dynamics, with a robust network.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Management experience
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
